Summary
TrustedID is a former identity theft protection service turned credit report company that has the real inside track when it comes to protecting your identity. It has the most comprehensive credit monitoring services available, three bureau credit reports, scores and monitoring services upon sign up and an on hand, friendly customer service team that you just won't find anywhere else.
Overview of Pricing
It's not hard to see why TrustedID is such a competitive credit report company, and with equally competitive prices it's even easier to understand why they are one of the most trusted institutions on the market. They offer packages for both individuals and families, currently standing at $10.42 per month and $20 per month respectively.
Credit scores, credit reports and credit monitoring services are all growing in demand as we discover how important it is to know everything about our current credit status and how it effects our ability to get credit. Whether you want to look towards getting a mortgage or taking out a loan for a significant amount of money, it is more than a good idea to check out your credit worthiness. The better your credit standing is equals to not just how likely you are to get approved, but also whether or not you benefit for more attractive features on your preferred loan, such as lower interest rates. So, who do you trust to offer you the right services when there are so many credit report companies on the market? Well, we take a look at TrustedID and what they offer, to see if they could be the most beneficial company for you.
Credit Monitoring, Reports and Scores
TrustedID are one of the only credit report companies that started out as an identity theft protection service, so they really know their stuff when it comes to protecting your identity. They work to securely monitor your personal information to protect you from identity theft, and with unique tools that help to keep track of the use of all of your personal and financial information you can rest assured that your identity will be totally safe.
With extensive credit monitoring services and privacy management products that are specifically built to suit the needs of individuals, families and businesses alike, TrustedID focus more on protecting your identity and helping to arm you with the right tools to safeguard yourself financially in the long term. You will receive all 3 credit scores free when you sign up (and annually), but your monthly credit reports and scores will be provided by Equifax.
Identity Theft Protection and Tools
Because of their unique knowledge in the field, TrustedID does more than monitor and protect your credit information. They offer a tailor made claims kit that includes a detailed description of the resolution process and added assistance to help you to avoid potential fraud problems in the future if you do happen to fall victim to identity fraud. They provide information to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and other government agencies to help recover your identity if need be and they hold a $1 million insurance and service guarantee so that they can reimburse you for any costs, lost wages or legal expenses that will occur as a result of identity fraud, for as long as you are a customer. They also work to provide you with additional services that will make your life easier, including removing your personal information from unwanted mailing lists.
As well as all of these great features, TrustedID also offers you a family plan that includes senior citizens living in the home environment. What this means is that any elderly relatives who live with you will be covered by your credit monitoring package, and seeing as they are often good candidates for identity fraud, this is one feature that you cannot afford to miss. The family plan also includes the protection of your children (who are around 40% more likely to become victims of ID fraud than adults) so that you know that you have all bases covered.
TrustedID really do work to go above and beyond the usual industry standards by also offering you medical record protection. This exclusive feature helps you to request your medical benefit history from all of the major providers. You may wonder why you'd need medical record protection, but TrustedID have thought of everything so that you don't have to.

Pricing Issues
TrustedID offers an excellent range of benefits for a reasonable price bracket, with monthly fees of $10.42 per month for individuals and $20 per month for families (with annual prepay). After the 14-day trial you will be automatically enrolled in a 90-day contracted period, but you will be offered a 50% refund if you cancel within those 90 days.
Overall
There doesn't seem to be many down sides to TrustedID's great services, fair pricings and on hand customer service team, and if you are looking for a more comprehensive identity theft protection suite there really is no better company in the field. It may be worth it to bear in mind that other than initially (and also once annually) you will receive your credit reports and scores from Experian only and will therefore be at a slight disadvantage to some of the other major credit report companies. They don't look at public records or at criminal records either, which are beginning to become an industry standard of late, but that's not to say that they won't be added in the future.
